Excursion: Lively Geographies: Reading “De Uiterwaarden” | APRIL 26 2017, 13.30-17.00 | intro lecture and departure @WUR forum BUILDING room C104

 

Guided by Rik Eweg, lector at the university for applied sciences Van Hall Larenstein and former Wageningen alderman, we will take a tour through De Uiterwaarden. In this landscape we will read contemporary conflicts on nature conservation and contentious histories from child labour to the dumping of industrial waste. The excursion is preceded by a short introduction and closed with drinks downtown.
